$76.25MM might seem like a lot of money for less than an acre of land at the base of Aspen Ski Area, but for a Miami-based development firm founded by a Russian-born billionaire, the prospect of building 81 rooms at the base of Lift 1 made it seem like an appropriate price.
A seven-time return on this real estate investment since July of last year was enjoyed by the consortium that purchased this property from Aspen ski mountain for $10MM just a few months ago.
